Piece by Piece 3D SBS 2024

The movie Piece by Piece 3D (2024) begins with a conversation between Pharrell Williams and documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville. Pharrell seeks to convey his story through Lego, comparing his life to a set of pieces from which to create new things. His story begins in Virginia Beach, where he grew up with his parents, Pharaoh and Caroline. Possessing synesthesia, he saw colors in music and drew inspiration from artists like Stevie Wonder. Overcoming his learning difficulties, he befriended Chad Hugo, and together they formed the band The Neptunes, which caught the attention of producer Teddy Riley.
