Military weapons fail against Gamera's spinning flight and shell. Scientists devise the Z Plan: lure Gamera to Oshima Island with fire and launch it into space on a rocket. Toshio bids farewell as the rocket departs for Mars. This Daiei film launched the Gamera franchise.
